How to manually install the ECAL driver

While under most circumstances Windows will automatically and silently install the necessary drivers for ECAL when it is first connected, there are some situations where manual installation of the drivers will be required. Such situations occur if:
  • Personal or corporate networks disable automatic driver installation.
  • The target PC does not have access to the internet, requiring the drivers to be installed from a thumbdrive, external HDD, etc.

Instructions
  1. Download the driver setup executable from here. If necessary, transfer the file to an external storage medium such as a USB thumbdrive and then transfer it to the target PC.

  2. Right click on the executable and click Run as Administrator . If required, enter the Administrator password.

  3. Click Extract and wait for the files to be extracted.

  4. After the extraction is complete the window will close and the installation wizard will open. Click Next .

  5. After reading the agreement select the I accept this agreement radio button and then click Next to begin the driver installation.



  6. When the drivers have finished installing click the Finish button to complete the process. ECHealth will now be able to communicate with the ECAL.
